 Client / Trainer Agreement  

The Trainer

  • The trainer will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will take into account the personal goals, fitness levels and exercise likes and dislikes. 

  • The trainer will deliver their sessions and advice to the best of their ability, will be registered with REPs, and will respect all applicable UK laws and the REPs Code of Conduct at all times.

  • The trainer intends to work with you within the scope of knowledge and competencies as a REPs Registered Exercise Professional.

  • The trainer will provide the coaching, supervision advice and support that the client may need to help them achieve their goals. The client’s progress will be regularly monitored and the programme revised and adjusted accordingly.

  • The trainer will refer you to another health professional if it is in the best interest of the client. 

  • The trainer will provide all necessary equipment and will organise appropriate venues for all training sessions.

  • All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential. If the trainer requires further medical information from a practitioner, the client must provide such details. 

 

The Client

  • Accepting potential risks. Whilst for most people exercise is hugely positive with many health benefits, there remains some risk that I require you to be aware of and for you to sign the informed consent and PAR Q forms that I will provide.

  • It is understood between client and trainer that both will commit to the programme and give 100% effort. 

  • The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear where necessary.

  • The client will agree to all terms and conditions listed below.

 

 Personal Training Terms and Conditions 

Health Screening

  •  All clients must complete a PAR-Q form before commencing any exercise programme. 

  • Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP.
     

Cancellation Policy 

  • 24 hours notice of cancellation is required for all appointments.

  • Notice of less than 24 hours notice will incur full payment of the session fee.

  • If I am forced to cancel our session within 24 hours I will make up the session at no charge to you. If I am forced to cancel our session giving you more than 24 hours’ notice I will reschedule as soon as possible. 
     

Lateness Policy

  • If you (the client) are late to a session, I will do my best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session. 

  • If I run late in starting our session I will extend the session time accordingly or make it up at a future date, whichever is most convenient to you. 

 

Fee Charging Policy

  • I agree to the payment set up of the PT option that I have signed up for and the time frame I have to use my sessions. 

  • Payment for single sessions must be made at the time of booking. 

  • All single sessions, monthly subscriptions and packages must be paid prior to the training sessions.

  • All monies paid are non-refundable.
