Healthier Chocolate Chunk Cookies!

Yummy no eggs, no flour, no sugar chocolate chunk cookies

Made these in 20 minutes all with store cupboard ingredients! Loosely followed a recipe online but ended up winging it and they tasted great.

We ate most of them all out of the oven warm and soft but once they cooled they were actually great - a little firmer and chewier in the middle.


1 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup corn flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1/4 cup of milk - any milk can be used

  • 5 squares of Cadburys chocolate broken into chunks - any chocolate/ chips can be used

  • A couple drops of sweetener vanilla drop or vanilla essence


  1. Preheat the oven to 175C/350F. Line a tray with grease proof paper

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix together well. 

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl heat the butter and maple syrup and stir together until combined

  4. Add this to the dry mixture, along with the vanilla extract and milk, and mix very well. Fold in the chocolate chunks/chips. 

  5. Using a spoon, scoop out the cookies into ball shapes onto the lined tray. and press slightly into a cookie shape. Making them as little or big as you like ( makes 8 normal sized)

  6. Bake for around 13 minutes, or until lightly brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. 

Definitely have a go at these! Once you have these ingredients it couldn't be easier!
